Les Granges

Les Granges is a home that has been much loved over the years, situated in the beautiful village of Siorac-de-Riberac. The house is a haven of tranquility, truly a ‘get away from it all’ place to stay, except there is access to wi-fi and a decent ‘phone signal! The swimming pool is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, although there are plenty of trees in the 3.8 hectares of land surrounding the property. Relax in one of the hammocks in the heat of the day, or star gaze at night. Meal times are very much an outside experience under the shade of the gazebo, perfect for breakfast or watching the sun go down with a chilled aperitif. For those of a competitive nature there is a table tennis table, a table football game and even a boules pitch. Tennis courts are accessible in the town of Riberac, and there are plenty of country walks and mountain bike tracks departing from the house with bikes available for use at the property. The lake beach of La Jamaye is just over ten minutes away by car or try the river beach at Aubeterre, with its pretty square and monolithic Church, a lovely place for a coffee or lunch as you watch the world go by. Siorac itself has a fantastic restaurant and there is nothing more that says ‘French holiday’ than walking up to the Le Lavoir for dinner as the sun goes down, and heading back to Les Granges under the stars.
